We are grateful for the many donations over the years, of not only money, but equipment, supplies and labor. We would like to give special mention to the following:GMAR (Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors) - Thank-you for the generous Placemaking Grants over the years, allowing us to purchase materials to build a new, attractive wood fence, suitable for the neighorhood and park area we are in, and to replace older wood beds with newer ones.
Jim Shaffer and Associates Realtors - Thank-you, Jim Shaffer, for your ongoing involvement in the community, and for your generous 2016 monetary donation to help us get started in Ferndale!
Durst Lumber - Thank-you for the generous donation of lumber at cost, and its free delivery, used for the first of our raised beds in our Ferndale garden.
Cinzori Farms - Thank-you for the large donation of organic starter plants, to help kick off our first year (in 2016) in Ferndale!
Community Housing Network - Thank-you for your donation of labor to remove our fence from the Oak Park location, and help us start over in Ferndale in 2016.
Home Depot, Thank-you for the extension of reduced pricing (for non-profits), for some of our recent purchases of lumber and supplies.
Vinsetta Gardens - Thank-you for your donation of professional garden design, to draw up a plan for the garden.
